I had a mixed experience at Bayhaven Lodge. The location was fantastic, just a short stroll to the beach and dining spots, which made it so convenient. However, I was disappointed with the cleanliness and maintenance of the room. The staff was friendly and helpful, but the issues with the room's upkeep overshadowed my stay.

Rooms
6.0
The room was small and had some cleanliness issues. There were signs of dirt, and the maintenance could have been better, such as a toilet that wasn't securely attached. I also found it strange that the shared kitchen was referred to in a confusing manner. I felt the lack of privacy with shared spaces when I expected more exclusivity. If I return, I'd opt for one of the larger rooms for more comfort.
Service
9.0
The staff was genuinely helpful and accommodating. They gave useful tips about local dining options and helped us with issues during our stay, making a solid effort to ensure we were comfortable. I appreciated their friendliness and responsiveness.
Location
10.0
The location couldn't be better. I loved being just a 5-minute walk from the main beach and lots of restaurants. I really didn't need to use my car for most of my stay, which made exploring Byron so much easier.
Dining
8.0
While I didn’t eat on-site, there were plenty of dining options nearby. I loved that I could easily grab a smoothie or find a great meal just a short walk away.
Facilities
5.0
The facilities had potential, but they fell short. The common areas were shared, which I didn’t expect, and the cleanliness in those areas was also not up to par. The kitchenette was useful but could use better organization and supplies.

I had a pleasant stay at Bayhaven Lodge, with helpful staff and a prime location near the beach and town. While the room was well-equipped, the bathroom space was quite tight, which might be a concern for some. Overall, it was a solid experience with just a few minor hiccups.

Rooms
8.0
My room was cozy and nicely presented, with essential amenities provided. However, the bathroom was very small, making it a bit of a challenge, especially for someone taller. I had to manage toiletries on the kitchen counter, which wasn't ideal.
Service
8.0
The staff, particularly Nick and Adam, were friendly and efficient. They kept communication clear, especially when there was an issue with the hot water due to stormy weather. Their proactive approach truly impressed me.
Location
10.0
The location couldn't be better! Just a short stroll to the main street and beach, and I found free parking around the corner, which was a big plus. It made exploring Byron Bay super convenient.
Dining
8.0
While there wasn't a microwave or extensive dining setup in the room, the lodge was close to many restaurants and shops, making it easy to grab a bite nearby.
Facilities
8.0
The shared garden area was a nice touch for relaxation, though there could be better private storage solutions in the room. Overall, the facilities met my needs well.

I had a lovely stay at Bayhaven Lodge, with its fantastic location making it easy to access shops, restaurants, and the beach. The staff were incredibly friendly and accommodating, which made my visit enjoyable. However, I found the room I stayed in was a bit snug for my preferences and could have benefitted from a bit more storage space in the bathroom. Overall, it rated a solid 8/10 for me.

The room was clean and fitted with necessary amenities, but it felt a bit small with limited space for my toiletries.

There are dining options nearby, including Indian food, which I appreciated.

I had a mixed experience at Bayhaven Lodge. The location is fantastic, just a short walk from the beach and town center, making it super convenient. However, the cleanliness was a major issue, with hair and dust noticeable in several areas. Overall, I appreciated the cozy atmosphere, but the lack of proper cleaning and the layout of certain rooms left much to be desired. 😕✨

My stay at Bayhaven Lodge was good overall, with beautifully decorated rooms and a great location near the town center. However, the noise from the main road was a bit distracting at times, and the garden area felt less private than I expected.

Rooms
8.0
I paid extra for the Upstairs suite, which was spacious and well-furnished. Although the Standard Double Room was cozy, I found it a bit on the small side. The decor was charming, but I did notice the walls were thin, so noise from outside could be an issue.
Service
10.0
The staff, especially Nick, were incredibly helpful during my stay. They accommodated my early arrival request and assisted when I faced a car issue. Their friendly approach made my experience all the more enjoyable.
Location
9.0
The location of the lodge is perfect! It's just a short walk to the beach and the main strip, making it easy to explore Byron Bay without dealing with too much noise and chaos.
Dining
8.0
While my stay didn't include dining, I saw they offered homemade cakes, which looked absolutely delicious. I wish I could have tried them during my visit (maybe next time!).
Facilities
7.0
I appreciated the keypad access instead of traditional keys, and the free parking a few minutes away was a nice touch. However, I did notice that the garden space, which is intended for relaxation, felt too exposed.
